Popular Honolulu’s Café in Hawaii is signing its own death sentence this week. For the next 8 years, they will increasingly disallow service to many would-be customers.
Hawaiian Cafe Signs Its Own Death Sentence
Honolulu’s Café in Hawaii put up a sign on their door reading:
The same sign has been proudly presented on this cafe’s Facebook page and has received 40 likes – barely making up for the thousands of customers they will lose over the coming 8 years while Trump is President.
When FoxNews approached the business owner for a comment, they downplayed the sign, saying that even if they see a customer in a Trump shirt, “we don’t put anything different in your food”. Probably because no Trump supporters will be buying food from this cafe any time soon.
Willes Lee, former chairman of the Hawaii Republican Party and now president of National Federation of Republican Assemblies, suggested the sign is discriminatory, and harkens back to “racist and hate-filled” days before statehood.
“Remember when Filipinos couldn’t go in certain places, or Japanese wouldn’t be allowed in many homes? And, it didn’t matter who they voted for,” said Lee, who is of Japanese descent.
Good luck to them as Trump continues gaining support and will be in office for the next 8 years.
